Welcome to Lordran, everyone! This is a comm for fans of FromSoftware's Dark Souls series (including Demons' Souls, Bloodborne, Sekiro, and most likely the upcoming Elden Ring). In hindsight I probably should have called the comm "Soulsborne", but it's too late to turn back now.

RULES: 

• No pointless hate.
  • This means no bigotry- no racism, sexism, homophobia, transphobia, transmisogyny, ableism, etc. No hating on white people, men, straight people, or cis people.  Don't be a dick. Don't be a Nazi.
    We're here to fight Hollows, not each other.  
    
    
  • It also means: don't slag on people for liking a particular game, or a particular character, or a particular headcanon, more or less than you do. Every game in the series is someone's favourite; every character is someone's favourite.
    It's okay to express distaste for a particular game/character/what have you, but don't go after someone else for liking something you don't.
    
    
  • And by this token-- anti shit is not welcome here. Don't hate on someone for what they ship. I don't care how nasty it is; you have a working blacklist. Use it.
    
    
• No bullying. 
  • If you get in an argument with someone, that's fine, but please try to stay charitable and kind. 
  • Don't pick fights. Don't hunt them down off the comm to get in arguments.  Don't try to call them out or for the love of god doxx them. Just... don't.
    
    
• If you're giving advice about playing the game, please try to keep it constructive! Saying "git gud" isn't really helpful-- people wouldn't be asking advice if they didn't want to git gud in the first place. Don't make fun of people for being "bad at the game" or yell at them for doing things in a non-optimal fashion.
   
• GWYNDOLIN GENDER DISCOURSE IS FORBIDDEN. We do not talk about the orangutan. 
  It's perfectly fine to have your own headcanons about Gwyndolin and to use whatever pronouns you wish. If you try to Discourse at someone else for using the "wrong" pronouns or "wrong" headcanons, you are breaking rule #1.

What happens when you break the rules: 

• Initially, you'll get a warning.  Everyone makes mistakes and gets salty about things.
• If you continue to be a dick after being warned, you'll be removed from the comm. You can come back if you're willing to apologize- again, everyone makes mistakes.
• If you have a repeated pattern of dickish behaviour- three removals-  you'll be banned from the comm.
  
  
• AUTOBANNABLE OFFENSES INCLUDE, BUT ARE NOT LIMITED TO: promoting irl hate groups and/or irl violence (including genocide),  suicide-baiting, doxxing, sexual harassment, and accusing someone of being a pedophile because of their ships.  And -- while not as serious as the above -- intentionally starting Gwyndolin Gender Discourse is also an autobannable offense.
