What is Soulbonding?
Soulbonding is when a person from our world (the soulbonder) is able to connect and communicate with a living, autonomous being (the soulbond) known as a fictional character in this reality. This experience can be seen a number of ways, such as a psychological phenomenon or from a metaphysical/spiritual lens.
A soulbond may show up spontaneously or may be reached out to intentionally
RULES:
1. Be kind and respectful
We are welcoming to anyone of every background, identity, appearance, (dis)ability, and origin; hate speech, bigotry, discrimination, or harassment of any kind will not be tolerated. Likewise, debates on the validity of plurality/endogenic systems or any form of alterhumanity are not allowed. Healthy disagreements are fine, but please remain polite.
Trolls will be immediately banned.
2. Remember that soulbonding can be viewed a number of ways.
Be mindful of how someone views their soulbonding, whether psychological, metaphysical, spiritual, or unlabeled altogether, and whether they see it as plural for them or not. If you’re unsure about someone’s perspective, respond in a general way or stick to just your personal experience.
Never force your opinions on others, just as you wouldn’t want them to force theirs on you. It's important for everyone to feel included and for every viewpoint to be respected equally.
3. NSFW content must be toggled as such. Likewise, please tag for distressing content and apply the appropriate “pinned tag” to your post!
4. Use one comment at a time to express your collective's opinions.
Instead of this:
