Welcome to the Glade of Dreams! Pillowfort's proud Rayman community, now under the moderation of HayleyMulch and, the person who made the slightest minor changes to these, Rayman Chibi!
Rayman is a series of incredible platforming video games created by French video game developers Michel Ancel and Frederic Houde that began life in 1995. Since then, the Guardian of Dreams has starred in over 80 video games: ranging from platforming games, fighting games, puzzle games, sports games, racing games, educational games, and more!
In a fantastical world called the Glade of Dreams, there lives a creature known as Rayman: a magical, limbless being with floating hands and feet. Known as the Guardian of Dreams, Rayman was created by Betilla the Nymph to protect the Glade and its god, Polokus the Bubble Dreamer- whose dreams and nightmares come to life. Rayman's duty is to save his world from nightmarish nonsense and various villains, alongside his quirky cast of friends such as Globox, Murfy, Ly, Barbara, and others. The perils are great, but the adventures are greater! For friendship and laughter are more important than anything else, for the greatest victory is measured by the extent of the celebrations that follow it.
RULES:
1. Bullying, abusing, insulting, and harassing others is not tolerated. This may include spreading malicious rumors, intimidating a person, threatening abuse, excluding others for petty reasons, and sexual harassment. Rayman stands up to bullies, he doesn't tolerate them!
2. Discrimination is also not tolerated. Do not belittle, bully, or attack someone for their race, background, religion, gender, identity, sexuality, disability, or any other aspect of themselves they have no control over. The Glade of Dreams is a diverse location full of various creatures and cultures whom (mostly) get along. Respect should be the standard for all communities, not just this one.
3. Please do not disclose personal information. This includes credit card numbers, addresses, bank accounts, etc. Emails, social media links, and live photography are fine. But you know Ales Mansay would scam you out of every Lum you have if he got a hold of your information!
4. Sexual exploitation and indecency are prohibited. This includes posting nudes, asking for nudes or inappropriate material, encouraging illegal activities or behavior, encouraging substance abuse, pedophilia, bestiality, necrophilia, etc. If you believe your post is inappropriate before you post it (ex. a picture of a female character with large breasts) contact mods for examination. Though with a series as, er, horny as Rayman, it can be very tempting and even expected to make sexually-implicit jokes. Still, this is a server intended for all ages, so please do your best to keep crude humor or "adult jokes" to a reasonable minimum for the sake of the Teensie-sized members of the community.
5. Respect other people's opinions! Rayman is a diverse series with various games and media ranging in quality, tone, and genre. It's okay to disagree on which game was the best one or whether Billy West's Boston-accented Rayman was hilarious, awful, or hilariously awful. Remember that we're all different and we all have different tastes. Don't get into petty arguments about, say, which villain is the hottest (it's obviously Reflux.)
