Hello and welcome to the Video Game Fan Works community! This is a place where you can share your video game related works be it drawing, writing, remixes, playlists, crafts, edits, and more!
This place is meant to be a general community to help people share their interest in video games before jumping into more specifically focused communities within the subject. This place may be an opportunity to find others with similar interests in games though!
I’m starting off the community with screened submissions just so there’s no risk of spam, but may turn that off in the future.
With that said, I have made a list here to showcase other communities that I could find that focus on specific video games so please take a look through to see if there's any you can join and participate in!
Some quick rules:
* This is a safe for work (SFW) community. There are other communities on Pillowfort that can better showcase your more mature work. I simply want this place to be more of a jumping off point of sorts.
* That said, some things are still permitted here so long as there are tags placed so that people are able to blacklist when and where needed. Examples of things to blacklist are: blood, injury, body horror, and so on.
* Please make sure to tag what video game your work is featuring. I know some games have long names or are part of a series, but so long as you at least have one of them down, like an umbrella term (ex. Pokemon, Crash Bandicoot, Gran Turismo, etc.), you're good.
* Written work is accepted! However, if they are lengthy a cut/read-more (the [...] button) must be used or it will be declined. I am aiming to make this community smooth when scrolling through or when they show up on people's feeds.
* With that said, this applies to photo posts that are long also! If they are long, they will not be accepted unless they are under a cut. These posts are best for more specific communities out there.
