This comm is for posting about yaoi, BL, and yaoi- and BL-adjacent work! This includes geikomi if you want it to, as well as bait (queerbait, fujobait, shipbait, etc), fanwork, and anything else that you think belongs in a comm called "yaoi" with some minor restrictions.
Rules
1. Tag your posts so that they can be filtered and so that people can browse the comm more easily.
2. You may not repost someone else's art without crediting them. All art reposts must include a link to the artist's page.
3. No real life gay porn or image manips.
4. No RPF/RPS (real person fiction/real person slash).
5. No nonfiction unless it is specifically about yaoi or BL.
6. Do not pick fights. Do not assume someone else is picking a fight. No trolling, no ship wars, no personal insults, no racism, sexism, homophobia, or transphobia.
7. If someone posts something that you think should not be allowed or otherwise fails the vibe check, even if it does not necessarily violate a specific rule, click the flag and report it to the community moderator (me, wretch).
8. No yaoi ronso posting allowed. If someone makes a yaoi ronso post, everyone has blanket permission to respond with this image (or a variation thereof):

Spritzing someone with a water bottle does not constitute "picking a fight" in this context.
Tags
Please tag your post with what type of post it is!
- discussion
- recommendation
- fanart
- fanfic
- ofic (short for "original fiction")
- original art
- promo (for both self-promotion of work you are selling, including commissions, and other-promo if you want to boost a kickstarter, game bundle, cool discount on merch, etc)
- screencaps (please use this for panels from manga or photographs of book pages, as well as screenshots from games and anime)
- official art (for posters, artbook scans, or other forms of official art for a series)
Other general post type tags are encouraged, this list is not exhaustive. This will make browsing the comm a more pleasant experience for everybody!
It would also be helpful to tag with a media tag - ie, if you are posting about a manga, tag it with "manga;" if you are posting about a webcomic, tag it with "webcomic", etc.
You must use these tags when applicable to the content of your post:
- rape/noncon
- underage
- furry
- incest
- graphic violence
And, of course, NSFW/18+ posts should be toggled appropriately.
If your post contains a specific fetish, it would be helpful for you to tag it with that fetish both for people filtering it out and for people who might be looking for it.
If a trend emerges of non-standardized fetish post tagging, I will arbitrarily decree some to be the official versions and add them here.
Have fun!
